Blood Pressure Monitoring

High blood pressure (also known as hypertension) is one of the main causes of heart attacks and strokes. High blood pressure can also damage the eyes and the kidneys.

Checking your blood pressure is a quick and painless procedure. A cuff is wrapped around the upper arm and this cuff is then inflated and slowly deflated, allowing your blood pressure to be read. Your pharmacist or one of our trained consultants will then be able to tell you if your blood pressure is normal or if further action needs to be taken. You will also receive advice on how you may help to keep your blood pressure within normal limits.
